Do "Sentence Enhancers" Really make a movie better?
Last night I rented The Sitter with Jonah Hill I like him I find him funny but the movie was less then entertaining to say the least. I mean the opening scene set the tone for an uncomfortable awkward feeling movie. I know they said this was a new Adventure in Babysitting but really it didn't hold a candle to it. Yes it had all the same type of situations but they missed the mark. I don't understand why they feel having the kids curse like truckers and act like out of control teens is funny? Don't get me started on all the sex talk and actions I could do with innuendo and letting my imagination take it from there. It doesn't add anything to the movie and I think it would be better with maybe just a few less "sentence enhancers". the rare curse from a minor in the appropriate situation is more comical then them dropping the F word every five seconds.
