1. Tim Allen in the Santa Clause (1994)
Tim Allen plays such a warm and child like Santa. I love the relationship between him and his son and how unbreakable the belief in Santa Charlie has. If this movie doesn't have you feeling all warm and fuzzy at the end I don't know what will.
2. Miracle on 34th street (1947&1994)
OK I put both the original and the remake in the spot for number two because they are both really good Santa's. I feel that to not have them both would be a slap in the face to one or the other. I also think they both capture the real "Spirit of Santa" and make you really want to yell I BELIEVE at the top of your lungs.
3. Jingle all the way (1996)
OK who hasn't tried to get there kid the years hottest toy? All I have to say is this movie makes me laugh my a@# off and I just love all the different Santa's in this film .
4. Paul Giamatti in Fred Claus (2004)
What a great patient Santa. If i had a brother like his I don't think I could be so patient. good healthy laughs and great for the season.
5.Jack Skellington in The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
OK yes this is an odd choice but the message is good. Watching jack learn the really meaning of Christmas is priceless.
And drum roll please the prize of worst Santa ever goes to........
Billy-Bob Thorton in Bad Santa (2003) Without a doubt the worst Santa ever!!! Santa is not a womanizing, drunk, thieving , cussing A-hole. enough said on that horrible movie!
And on that note Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!
